Get These Bookkeeping Clients If You Don’t Have Social Media

No social media? Go get these clients as a bookkeeper: service based businesses. Service-based simply means like they're selling a service or an outcome. They're not selling items. There's no inventory. They're selling their knowledge or expertise and they're solving some kind of problem for the client. That can encompass a whole lot of types of businesses. Some examples of categories of service based bisnesses are medical professionals (doctors, veterinarians, massage therapists, speech pathologists), people that work on your house (plumbers, electricians, handymen, landscape gardener, house cleaners), personal care (hair stylists, personal trainers, coaches, dieticians), and a bunch in the online world now (virtual assistants, any kind of online coach or consultant). There are also many others. As a bookkeeper, I've found service-based businesses to be easier and often more simple. Here's how to target these businesses the old-fashioned way... without Facebook, Instagram or Tiktok. I'll talk about why I like these businesses and my tips and strategies to attract and onboard these bookkeeping clients.
